Curasept ADS220 Rinse
Non-staining alcohol-free 0.2% chlorhexidine anti-microbial rinse
Curasept is a revolutionary chlorhexidine di-gluconate mouthwash that protects gums and teeth from attack by harmful bacteria, and the build up of plaque.
Curasept can be used to assist treatment of the following:
- Mouth ulcers
- Receding Gums
- Care after oral surgery
It is revolutionary in that, unlike other popular chlorhexidine preparations Curasept:
- Contains no alcohol, and therefore does not cause further irritation to ulceration or other mucosal complaints.
- Contains no sugar.
- Has a unique anti-discolouration system to mostly eliminate the discolouration caused by the Chlorhexidine.
- Causes negligible change in taste perception, itself having a mild minty flavour.
- The pH is 6.2 to protect tooth enamel.
Ingredients: Water, xylitol, propylene glycol, peg-40 hydrogenated castor oil, ascorbic acid, chlorhexidine digluconate, aroma, poloxamer 407, sodium metabisulfite, sodium citrate, CI42090.
This item is good and it does what it says on the bottle plus its cheaper than buying it at the dentist, plus using with an electric toothbrush the dentist doesn't have to do as much cleaning as before. It also seems to stop mouth ulcers as well. Tracy
Dom says Chlorhexidine preparations have been established in Europe as the oral antimicrobial of choice for over 30 years, what Curasept has done is really bring it up to date with no more discolouration to teeth, tongue and gums, gone is the vile taste of traditional preparations, and being alcohol-free there is no further irritation. It looks green in the yellow bottle, but when it comes out it is actually blue... I like that!
Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
