Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays). Royal Mail deliver on week days and Saturday.
All items sent in the mail show a return address of simply "MU Shop", there is no mention of mouth ulcers or oral health. If customs documentation is required then this will only list the names of the products enclosed.
To try and avoid inconvenience if you are likely to be out when the posty arrives you can:
- For 1st Class ask for delivery on a particular day (we will try our best).
- Specify an alternate delivery address (such as your work place).
- Provide instructions (such as "Please leave with neighbour if out" or "Please leave in greenhouse if out" etc.).
- Ask for minimised packaging - in which case we'll make the packaging as small as possible (some items, such as Curasept and Gengigel Rinse will pretty much always be too big for a letterbox though). 1 or 2 tubes of Squigle can be packed this way and fit through most letterboxes.
First Class (Business 24)
Orders dispatched every week-day on orders received by 3:30pm for delivery by Royal Mail First Class which should be delivered next day. All orders are carefully packed and most are sent out in cartons (recycled card).
To get around the recent, large price increase for postage, the following items are sent using our all new ultra-minimised-post-busting cartons (or padded envelopes) - not only does this keep the postage cost similar to how it was before, but they also fit through your letterbox:
Oralmedic (1-4 packs)
XyliMelts (1-8 packs)
H-B12 Melts (1-6 packs)
Gengigel Gel (1 tube)
Curasept Gel (1 tube)
For some of the items that have unnecessarily large and/or awkward retail packaging, this is flattened out in order to fit in the slim-line cartons or envelopes.
Economy (Business 48)
This option reduces the postage cost to a bare minimum. Dispatch is next week-day via Royal Mail Business 48 which is supposed to take 2 days.
If it is not urgent, then for the smaller, lighter items, this is a very cost effective method.
Orders for dispatch to countries in the EU (and most geographically European countries) are sent by International Priority Air Mail which takes about 5 days. There is the option to upgrade the postage to Priority Tracked if you so wish.
Worldwide orders are sent by International Priority Air Mail and can take about 10 days (sometimes more though, or less, depending upon local customs policy). They will be sporting an accurate and correctly completed customs declaration so hopefully you will not experience any delay. There is the option to upgrade the postage to Priority Tracked if you so wish.
We do not ship directly to Saudi Arabia or United Arab Emirates due to lenghthy customs delays, you can use Aramex to handle the shipping, in which case select UK shipping, and be sure to add your Aramex account reference for the label. We cannot ship directly to South Africa for the same reason.
If you have provided an email address, you will receive an automated confirmation message when you place your order, and then a personal message to inform you when your order has been dispatched - this is a real message written by one of us, not an automated response.
Cancellation & Returns
If you change your mind about an order let us know and if it hasn't been dispatched we will cancel it. Unwanted items can be returned so long as they are unopened, unused and in their original packaging and condition. In the unlikely event you receive damaged or incorrect goods we may ask for them to be returned (at our expense), replacements will, of course, be supplied.
