Gengigel First Aid
Gengigel First Aid Oral Fluid: ideal for application to wounds and during the post-operative phase.
Gengigel contains hyaluronan (a natural substance found in the connective tissues of the body). It controls inflammation and stimulates the production of new healthy tissue to provide the strength and elasticity.
Gengigel First Aid is a viscous oral fluid which adheres well to the inside of the mouth.
Gengigel has no contraindications and is safe to use in pregnancy, with diabetes and is suitable for young children and the elderly.
- For use on wounds that can heal by secondary intent.
- Reduces pain and discomfort, especially alter traumas, surgical or periodontal work, implants, tooth extractions and subgingival root planing.
- Promotes and accelerates the anti-oedematous and anti-inflammatory processes.
Applying hyaluronan strengthens cell walls and gets cells to stick together. The tissue grows back faster, while being able to resist re-infection.

I was recommended by Newcastle Dental Hospital to try Gengigel for recurrent mouth ulcers. After rubbing on the gel the pain relief was almost instataneous and the ulcers healed rapidly. S Morgan
Dom says Gengigel consistently performs well in clinical trials, and was probably well before it's time, hyaluronan is now being touted in all sorts of healthcare and cosmetic products. Personally I have found it excellent for preventing cuts or abrasions in the mouth from becoming ulcerated. It works best if you can dry the area (if possible!) and then massage the gel in, rather than just applying a blob of it.
Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
