Hyaluronan controls inflammation and promotes healing
Gengigel contains hyaluronan (a natural substance found in the connective tissues of the body). It controls inflammation and stimulates the production of new healthy tissue. To protect tooth enamel the pH is 6.5
Gengigel has no contraindications and is safe to use in pregnancy, with diabetes and is suitable for young children.
Gengigel can be used in the treatment of:
- Mouth ulcers
- Receding Gums
- Care after oral surgery
- Oral lichen planus
In trials at the University of Rostock in Germany, scientists found it can boost tissue healing by up to a half, increase blood supply and reduce inflammation. Hyaluronan, the active agent in Gengigel, has been used for years by doctors to boost regrowth of connective tissue throughout the body.
Applying hyaluronan as a mouth rinse or gel strengthens cell walls and gets cells to stick together. The tissue grows back faster, while being able to resist re-infection.
The Mouth Rinse is supplied with a measuring cup and is ideal for broad application and reaching those hard to get at places.
I was recommended by Newcastle Dental Hospital to try Gengigel for recurrent mouth ulcers. After rubbing on the gel the pain relief was almost instataneous and the ulcers healed rapidly. S Morgan
Dom says Gengigel consistently performs well in clinical trials, and was probably well before it's time, hyaluronan is now being touted in all sorts of healthcare and cosmetic products. Personally I have found it excellent for preventing cuts or abrasions in the mouth from becoming ulcerated. It also helps ease the horrid dry-mouth feeling too.
Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
